We would like to welcome you to Casa de la Luna!
You can check in with us after 4 pm. Please let us know at what time you think you will arrive.
On the day of departure you must return the key before 10 am.
Upon arrival:

are de beds made. And if you stay longer than 7 nights, the bed linen will be changed. The costs of this are included in the price.

you receive 2 towel sets per p.p. (the costs for an extra towel set aren € 2.50 p/st).

We ask you to fill in the Tourist Form as soon as possible (within 24 hours) and deliver it to us. These forms can be found in the information folder. The tourist tax is € 1,- p.p. p.n. (max. 7 nights and young people under 16 are exempt). This fee is not included in the price and must be paid in cash on the day of departure.

PARKING
There are plenty of free parking spaces on the public road. Of course you can also park at the top of the entrance to the house. Be careful because the slope is steeper than you might think. If you park at the top of the entrance, make sure there is a free passage for other cars. You can drive back down via the neighbor's driveway. If you want to charge your electric car, this is not allowed at Casa de la Luna. There are plenty of charging points near Begur.
WASTE
You can use the environmental pass for dumping waste for free in Begur. There are dumps for the waste at:
Casa de la Campo, Carrer Pablo Picasso (halfway down the road towards Palafrugell) or Camí Camp de Futbol (direction Regencos near the football field of Begur).
Use separate waste bags for residual waste, plastic and paper. The recycler pedal bin is located at the entrance of the B&B.
If the environmental pass is lost, € 100 will be charged.
FOR SAFETY OF YOUR BELONGINGS
It goes without saying that you lock the guesthouse properly the moment you leave. And also turn off lights and air conditioning when you leave!
Do not leave candles burning unattended. There is a fire extinguisher next to the guesthouse fridge. In case of fire, warn us immediately or call 112.

Sustainable
As owners we run Casa de la Luna as sustainably as possible.
We care deeply about our natural surroundings and are committed to using water wisely.
Located in the Mediterranean climate of Begur, we take conscious steps to reduce water waste. We encourage our guests to enjoy short showers, reuse towels, and turn off taps when not in use.
Our garden is maintained with drought-resistant plants and watered efficiently by hand. Every drop counts.
Casa de la Luna partly generates its own electricity via solar panels and you can charge your electric car at charging stations nearby.
DAMAGE
You are legally liable for damage that you or your fellow guests cause to the B&B accommodation or the items that are present. You must report a claim to us immediately. Any repair and/or replacement costs must be reimbursed by you.
IMPORTANT
Our B&B is not wheelchair accessible and not suitable for the disabled and small children. No pets are allowed. And smoking is not allowed in the rooms!
Finally, we advise you not to drink the tap water. Use bottled water for this.

On the day of departure make sure you leave the kitchen and tableware clean (including the BBQ!)
And that you leave the sliding doors ajar and the key on the outdoor.

THE SWIMMING POOL
You can use the swimming pool during the summer between 08:00 and 22:00.
'Bombing' and diving is not allowed for safety reasons. Use our green towels or your own towels on the sunbeds. Make sure the umbrellas are folded when you leave. The wind can suddenly pick up here!
In wintertime from 10 am till 22 pm, you can enjoy our warm outdoor spa under the stars. Take a shower first before you entire the spa. Bathrobes available. Bring your own bath slippers.

La Pizzeta – Begur
This restaurant is highly recommended if you want to eat out with children. They already open at 7pm which you don't often find in Spain. There are several shifts, so staying all night in July and August is not possible if you come early.

Perhaps more of an eatery, but a real meeting place in Begur, with simple, yet delicious dishes and tapas. This restaurant also remains open almost all year round, which is one of the reasons why many residents come here. In addition to good food, you can often go here to watch a FC Barcelona match live, or for example matches at a World Cup or European Championship.
